Blue WKD worth £280,000 stolen sparks Ayrshire police appeal for witnesses

Ayrshire police have launched an appeal for witnesses after almost £300,000 worth of Blue WKD was stolen from Cumnock.Officers in East Ayrshire are continuing enquiries and asking for information following the break-in which occurred on Saturday night at Caledonian Bottlers, Cumnock Business Park.It is then believed three HGV tractor/trailer units attended the premises in the early hours of Monday and stole a quantity of pallets containing Blue WKD alcohol, valued around £280,000.Around 11.45pm later that day, one of the tractor units containing a quantity of pallets of Blue WKD was discovered on fire on the A76 between Mennock and Enterkinfoot, Dumfriesshire.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your.
