The words “Black Lives Matter” have been painted in yellow on the street that leads to the White House in Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser gave her full support for the mural to be painted on 16th Street between K and H Streets and she also renamed a section of the street to “Black Lives Matter Plaza.” John J.

Falcicchio, who works on the Mayor’s staff, tweeted, “There was a dispute this week about whose street this is.
