Birmingham stabbing: Police rush to hotel as man, 20, knifed to death

A teenager has been arrested after a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in a hotel last night. The victim was found fatally wounded at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Birmingham at around 7.20pm.

He was rushed to hospital where he later died from his injuries. West Midlands Police say a 19-year-old has been arrested this morning and remains in custody.

Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, who is leading the murder investigation, said: “A young man has tragically lost his life and our thoughts are with his family after receiving such shocking news. Were you at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Birmingham on Tuesday night?
