The 52-year-old actor won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series during the 2020 Emmy Awards, which aired on Sunday (September 20). Billy won for his work on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show and this marked the first Emmy win for the new streaming service.
During his speech, Billy had a call to action for a specific group of people. “To the young people in my life, my glorious son Will, my nephews, all my godchildren… please save us, sorry to ask, but thanks in advance for all of your help,” he said.
