Billie Piper has opened up about a period in a life which she has said was necessary for her to be where she is now. The 38-year-old actress has said she needed to "fall apart" in her 20s, after her marriage to DJ Chris Evans fell apart.
Billie shot to fame as a teenage singer and married Evans when she was 18, separating three years later. Speaking to Red magazine, Billie said: "My 20s were quite wild, and that was likely to be a reaction to (teenage years spent) working all the hours that God sent, being very performative and treated sort of like a flashy sales girl, a really young one."
