G-Dragon has reportedly been booked for a drug-related violation. The 35-year-old South Korean rapper and singer, who rose to fame as the leader of the group BIGBANG and is referred to as the “King of K-Pop,” reportedly was booked without detention by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on Wednesday (October 25), via Soompi. The police said in a statement: “Because it’s a case that’s currently under investigation, we cannot reveal concrete details.” Later that evening, when asked to comment on the matter, entertainment agency YG Entertainment told Xportsnews, “[G-Dragon] is currently not an artist under our agency, so it is difficult for us to make an official response.” YG Entertainment revealed back in June that their exclusive contract with G-Dragon expired.
