mirror.co.ukBig Brother viewers were left in tears after watching Jade Goody's first appearance in the 2002 series. Tonight, viewers were given a glimpse back at the iconic third series of the show in which Jade, then 20, rose to fame.
The scenes left viewers tearful and presenters Rylan Clark-Neal and Davina McCall paid tribute at the end of the programme. "We need to take a minute to speak about Jade," Rylan began, saying that she was the "perfect housemate". "She was beautifully flawed and I think everyone could relate to her," Davina said. "We loved her with all of our hearts.
She was just an extraordinary person." Jade tragically died on March 22 2009 at the age of 27 from cervical cancer. Fans were in tears watching Jade on screen again.
