Tensions have started to rise in the Big Brother house, as Sunday night's episode revealed the first signs of strain among the housemates.
Following Khaled's appointment as 'Head of House', Lily and Ali began to question his sincerity, labelling him "fake", reports MyLondon.
The conversation began with Lily stating: "I think Khaled is fake," and Ali concurring: "I think Khaled is fake as well." Ali elaborated, suggesting that Khaled is more concerned with appearances than genuine emotions: "He's worried about being perceived in a certain way, he doesn't feel terrible, he just wants to look like he feels terrible." She later approached Khaled directly, expressing her concerns: "I think you're a nice boy, but I find, sometimes the interactions, I find false and I find that very, very difficult because then I don't want to engage with it because I don't want to play into it." "I don't want to be fake with you and I don't want to be like, shaking your hand and hugging you when inside I'm thinking, 'I just don't buy it'." However, viewers were quick to defend Khaled, taking to Instagram to criticise Ali's behaviour.
One fan wrote: "Ali is not a psychic. I hope Khaled doesn't feel ganged up on or anxious." Another commented: "Ali was so patronising toward Khaled! 'You're a lovely boy!'.
