Former Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone has hit back at Lewis Hamilton after the Mercedes driver called him "ignorant and uneducated".
The 89-year-old was a pioneer in building the sport into what it is today, but the Brit has taken issue recently with the lack of diversity.
Hamilton has been hugely vocal as the "Black Lives Matter" movement continues to make waves with a host of drivers taking a knee before races.
But Ecclestone has refuted the world champion's claims and insisted that he is no less educated than him. He said: "Lewis could start by making people aware that those who are other than white are employed by teams and are given the same opportunities. "Lewis, you state that I am uneducated and ignorant.
