Ben Stiller and Apple Exec Eddy Cue Join SXSW for Spotlight Conversation

Jack Dunn Ben Stiller and Eddy Cue, the senior vice president of services at Apple, have joined SXSW 2025 for a special spotlight conversation entitled “Moving Culture Through Innovation and Creativity.” The talk is scheduled to take place on March 9 at 11:30 a.m.

CT in Ballroom D of the Austin Convention Center. Topics covered will include media, entertainment, music and sports. The conversation will also cover the Stiller-directed Apple TV+ series “Severance,” and feature never before seen clips from the show. “We’re honored to welcome Apple legend Eddy Cue and entertainment icon Ben Stiller to the SXSW stage,” said Hugh Forrest, SXSW president and chief programming officer. “Together, they’ll bring a wealth of knowledge to this conversation, and we’re excited about the opportunity for our community to get a look at never-before-seen content from the groundbreaking show, ‘Severance.’” “Severance” follows the dedicated team of office workers at Lumon Industries who have gone through a “severance procedure,” which surgically splits their memories between their work and home lives.

The cast is led by Adam Scott, who stars alongside Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro and Christopher Walken.

Stiller serves as director and executive producer with John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz and Nicholas Weinstock.
