So far, Clarke has resisted the temptation to call Doak up to the senior pool, instead keeping him with Scot Gemmill's Under 21s.But the clamour has been growing to blood Doak sooner rather than later, with the Tartan Army holding high hopes for the former Ayr United and Celtic starlet.
But any hopes if seeing him on the plane to Germany appear to have been dashed after Anfield assistant Pep Lijnders revealed that the 18-year-old would be out for a lengthy period after suffering a torn meniscus playing for the Reds' unders."That’s not a good one," said Klopp's No 2.
