We hope 2024 brings you all lots of treasured moments and lasting memories.And as always, we hope the hangovers aren't too severe after the nation brought in the bells in style.Among them were thousands of excited revellers gathered in the heart of Scotland's capital to wave goodbye to 2023.Despite facing chilly weather conditions, the massive crowd in Edinburgh cheered and counted down before the clock struck midnight on December 31.Marking the 30th anniversary of the capital’s Hogmanay celebrations, 1990s Britpop legends Pulp serenaded event-goers before a spectacular fireworks display above the castle.An estimated 50,000 people packed onto Princes Street for the world-famous street party.Cammy Day, leader of City of Edinburgh Council, said: “I’m sure I speak for the whole city when I say how excited I am for the 30th anniversary edition of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay.
