Rangers are said to be one of the clubs interested in former Hibs defender Josh Doig as Hellas Verona get set to cash in in January.Doig has made serious progress in Italy since his £3m switch from Edinburgh and is viewed as one of the most promising young full-backs in the country.
Still just 21, he's played 34 times and his star remains on the rise despite an injury picked up earlier this season halting his progress.
Verona are struggling in Serie A as they battle relegation but it's believed they are open to selling Doig if a reasonable bid arrives.Reports in Italy, stemming from Toro Goal, say they are in talks with Torino over a deal worth €6m (£5.2m).
But the same report names a number of other sides who have 'made contact' - with Rangers, Monza and Leeds all believed to be keen.
