A UK road trip has been crowned the world's most attraction-packed route, offering a journey through picturesque villages, stunning countryside, and majestic stately homes.
The study by InsureandGo, using an online route planner, identified the world's most famous road trips with the highest number of attractions per mile, placing the UK's Peak District in the lead.
Germany's scenic Black Forest High Road took second place, while Maui's Hana Highway in Hawaii, known for its lush rainforests, waterfalls, and ocean vistas, secured third place.
The Peak District wasn't the only UK destination to feature on the list; Northern Ireland's Causeway Coastal Route and Scotland's Highland Tourist Route also made the top ten, ranking fifth and seventh, while the Welsh Coastal Way was ninth.
