A student described as "beautiful" and "kind" tragically died in her sleep after getting back from work. Demi-Lea Dawson, passed away at her home in Prenton, Wirral, on Tuesday, May 19.
The night before she died, the University of Liverpool student had returned home from her part-time job at the local chippy and gone straight to bed.
She was diagnosed with epilepsy three years ago but hadn’t suffered from a seizure for the last 18 months, and didn't feel ill on the night.
On Tuesday morning, Demi-Lea was found by her mum Tracey, who had gone into her room after noticing she wasn't awake yet. The cause of her death is not yet known and an investigation is currently being carried out, the Liverpool Echo reports.
