An eyewitness has described how people desperately tried to save the lives of three who died in a 'horrific' crash at a beach resort in North Wales.
The woman said she heard a 'loud bang' as the smash happened close to the busy pier and seafront in Beaumaris on Anglesey just after 2.45pm yesterday (August 28).
She described how the collision involved 'a car hitting a pedestrian and then hitting a house' on Alma Street. The Beaumaris resident was in a hotel overlooking the scene when she heard the bang, she told the PA news agency.
She said she watched 'people trying very, very hard to do CPR'.
