Who is Montell 'Fire' Douglas on BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2024?
manchestereveningnews.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing is back for another series as weekend TV will be dominated by a bunch of celebrities doing foxtrots, paso dobles and cha-cha-chas for the next few months.
A group of 15 famous faces will take part in this year's show, alongside their professional dance partner, with the prize the prestigious Glitterball Trophy.
Among those taking part in this year's Strictly is Montell Douglas - also known to millions as Fire. Montell, 38, is the only British woman to compete at both the Winter and Summer Olympics.
Originally a sprinter she competed in the 100m at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Taking up bobsleigh in 2016 she then competed for Great Britain in the 2022 Winter Olympics, also in Beijing.
