BBC One's Christmas Day TV schedule has received a rather tepid response from viewers. The line-up, which features a mix of children's movies, family entertainment, and the King's Christmas Broadcast, didn't seem to ignite much excitement.
Some viewers are even suggesting it might be time to ditch the old ways. The Radio Times has disclosed that the day will kick off with animated hits like Trolls: Holiday in Harmony, Toy Story 3, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and the small-screen version of Julia Donaldson's Tiddler.

The evening's viewing includes festive favourites Wallace and Gromit in Vengeance Most Fowl and not one, but two episodes of EastEnders.
