BBC The Traitors fans say 'backfired' as they label contestant 'problem'

The penultimate episode of The Traitors kicked off with fans believing that one of the contestants plans backfired in Thursday night's (23rd January) episode.

Viewers watched as faithful Leanne arrived at the breakfast table even though the traitors had chosen to "murder" him. Charlotte decided to recruit Freddie as the newest traitor, a position he had to accept or face being murdered himself.

Leanne informed Charlotte, Minah and Jake that she had received the shield in the challenge, so when it came down to choosing who to murder Charlotte persuaded Freddie to pick Leanne so that he would look guilty.

As Charlotte's plans worked exactly as she hoped with Leanne instantly believing that Freddie is a traitor, fans were confident that Charlotte had made a massive mistake.
