Fans of The Traitors have been left 'furious' after Freddie Fraser seemingly made a 'mistake' as he was banished from the Scottish castle just before the final.

The student was seen leaving during the penultimate episode of the series on Thursday night (January 23) after the faithfuls, and traitor Charlotte Berman, voted him out of the game just 24 hours after Charlotte recruited him as a traitor, where he was given the option to join her or be murdered.

Reflecting on his departure, Freddie said: “I actually feel alright. I always said coming into the competition, if I make the final 10, I’ve reached my goal.

I was really chuffed that I got further than that and I think I did myself justice. The worst part is that I had to stand up there and say that I was a traitor, even though it had only been a day." The remaining players celebrated as Freddie confirmed he was a traitors after coming under suspicion on multiple occasions, But fans of the BBC gameshow, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, felt Freddie could have twisted the knife just at the end by confirming how long he'd been a traitors.
