It was back on New Year's Day (Janaury 1) that fans of the BBC One gameshow saw presenter Claudia Winkleman welcomed a batch of 25 new contestants to the game of "detection, backstabbing and trust" where the aim is to win up to £120,000.
At the time, the game quickly got underway as while journeying to the Traitors’ castle in the Scottish Highlands, the host of new faces were told that three passengers would need to disembark the train to whittle down the contestants from 25 to 22.
But since then, the players have been whittled down and just five remain following the drama of the penultimate episode of the series on Thursday night (January 23).
