Strictly Come dancing pro dancer Neil Jones appeared on BBC Morning Live and provided an update on his colleague Amy Dowden following her backstage collapse on Saturday night.
During the daytime show on October 28, Neil said he had confidence that his friend would be back on her feet soon. Addressing hosts Gethin Jones and Michelle Ackerley, he stated: "She's such a trooper, she's so strong." Last year, Amy was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer but received the all clear from doctors before being announced as part of the 2024 Strictly line-up.
Reports indicate that an ambulance was summoned to the BBC studios on Saturday evening "as precaution", and Amy is now feeling "much better," reports Wales Online.
Subsequent reports have confirmed that Amy has been temporarily replaced by BBC bosses following a "medical emergency" backstage during the live Halloween special.
