A former Strictly Come Dancing star has predicted Jamie Borthwick will be 'in trouble' as the hit show heads to Blackpool. It's a big night on Saturday evening (November 16) as the stars ditch their usual studios for the famous Tower Ballroom.

Every year, the hit BBC One dance competition heads up north to the seaside town where the programme is broadcast live from the Toweer Ballroom as the eight remaining couples perform on the legendary venue's spring floor.

But it won't just be the celebrities and their professional dance partners who made it through to week nine of Strictly's 2024 series, that'll be performing as the special weekend will also feature a performance from Pet Shop Boys, who will open it with a medley of hits as the Strictly professional dancers perform a routine. But former Strictly pro Erin Boag is concerned for the soap star. Speaking to Spin Genie, the professional dancer was asked who she thinks is in trouble this weekend and said: "You've got people like Jamie and Michelle who started quite high and have slowly gone down.
