Jamie Borthwick was ‘gutted’ after becoming the latest Strictly Come Dancing casualty, it has been revealed. The EastEnders star and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas were the ninth couple to be eliminated from the BBC One dance contest.

The pair went up against Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe in the dance-off during the latest results show on Sunday night (November 24).

After both couples had reprised their routines from the live show on Saturday night (November 23), the judges unanimously agreed to save Montell and Johannes, sending Jamie and Michelle home.

Reflecting on his time on the show with co-host Tess Daly, soap star Jamie hailed Strictly as "magic" and praised those who work on the show.
