With Strictly Come Dancing final on the horizon, the finalists are preparing for battle to win the BBC One dance contest and life the sought-after Glitterball trophy.
Miranda star Sarah Hadland has danced her way to the final with professional dance partner Vito Coppola, thanks to both of their semi-final dances earning them 36 points from the judges.
The pair will be performing three dances on Saturday (14 December), their Show Dance to Cabaret by Metropole Orkest, as well as their American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small, and Cha Cha to Like A Prayer by Madonna. Sarah has since revealed that she's been shocked by the reactions she's received from her dancing. The 53-year-old admitted: "I'm capable of much more than I thought I was." The star mentioned the "unexpected" reactions she's had from women, saying that: "I've had some really quite tearful interactions with women, which has really shocked me", before adding: "You’re not out and about much when you're doing Strictly, but the few times where I have been the reaction has been amazing." Best known for playing the role of Stevie Sutton in Miranda, the actress continued: "I definitely didn't enter the show with any realisation that would happen." Before admitting that she never thought of herself like that, but hopes that she has "inspired people to think they can do it."
