BBC Strictly Come Dancing's JB Gill dealt surprise blow just before semi-final

JB Gill has been dealt a surprise blow ahead of Strictly Come Dancing's semi-final. The JLS star is set to compete in the penultimate week of the competition alongside dance partner Lauren Oakley.

JB and Lauren, who replaced JB's previous dance partner Amy Dowden following the show’s Halloween special after she suffered an injury, topped the leaderboard last weekend during the quarter-final, and the shows Musicals special, as they performed a Viennese waltz to Let’s Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins.
