Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland dropped a surprise bombshell on Dianne Buswell ahead of the final - but it wasn't what it seemed as the comedian took once last chance to joke with his dance partner.

Chris and his professional dancer partner Dianne were seen in shock on Saturday night (December 14) as they were declared the winners of the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series.

After Tess Daly announced them as this year's winners of the BBC One dance contest, Chris said it was "astonishing” to win. He cried and hugged his partner Dianne after the title was announced, with them both appearing to be in disbelief.
