Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has spoken out about her former partner Will Bayley's 'life-changing' injuries on the show, saying "it was hard".
The Paralympic table tennis star said he was left in “horrific pain” after practising a jump in rehearsals while competing in the 2019 series.
Discussing the jump, Bayley told the BBC: “I said, ‘I’m not sure I can land safely’, but everyone assured me I would be fine.” The athlete, who was born with rthrogryposis which affects all four of his limbs, claims Manrara made him redo the jump because an earlier attempt was “rubbish”.
