Dianne Buswell has been reflecting on her and Chris McCausland's Strictly Come Dancing journey and has been flooded with messages from fans as she shared a previously unseen clip of their first meeting.
The comedian was paired with the professional dancer right at the start of the 2024 series back in September after becoming the first blind person to ever take part in the BBC One dance contest.
They quickly created their own team name, thanks to Dianne's father. The pair have a close relationship with Mark, who lives in Australia but is visiting Dianne in the UK, and Chris told host Claudia Winkleman during the first live show what Dianne said to her dad when they were matched together. Claudia and the rest of the celebrities erupted into laughter.
The name has since stuck and on Wednesday (November 20), as they got stuck into more training having made it through to week ten of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series, which will take place live this Saturday night (November 23) back in Elstree Studio's after last weekend's jaunt to Blackpool, Dianne reflected on how far she and Chris had come.
