Dianne Buswell has told fans 'we're off' as she gave an update on her and Chris McCausland's journey to Blackpool for their next Strictly Come Dancing performance.

The comedian and the professional dancer made it through to week nine of the BBC One dance contest after their epic performance in the ballroom last Saturday night (November 9).

They performed their couple’s choice routine to Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon. The impressive jazz-inspired performance, that scored 33 out of a possible 40 points, featured a "poignant" blackout moment, which Chris has since said was to put viewers in the dark and be surprised by what they saw afterwards - which was an epic spin in which Dianne laid across his shoulders. They'll be performing a an American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka. But he has since talked about how much more he enjoyed his latest routine saying the Samba and Tango in the weeks before had been trickier.
