Strictly Come Dancing fans have said those behind the show's social media pages 'understand' how they're feeling about Pete Wicks' exit just before the final following a telling move.

The reality star and podcast host just missed out on a place in the final after he was voted off during the semi-final of the BBC One dance contest on Sunday night (December 8) alongside dance partner Jowita Przystal.

Pete and Jowita performed twice during the penultimate episode of the series during the latest live show Saturday night (December 7) alongside their four fellow semi-finalists as they all fought for a place in the upcoming grand final. They faced the dance-off against Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec. At the start of the week, as the news of Pete's exit settled, Strictly took to social media with a video titled: "Training room bloopers: Pete Wicks Edition".
