The first celebrity taking part in the 2024 Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special has been revealed - and they've admitted they're terrified.

Last year, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and professional dancer Nancy Xu lifted the Silver Star trophy. The soap star is now currently competing in the main show with professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas, while Nancy Xu and her celebrity partner, actor and singer Shayne Ward, left the BBC One dance contest after losing the dance-off in Sunday's (November 10) results show.

But who will be taking to the festive-themed ballroom this year? With weeks to go until the big day itself, Strictly has confirmed comedian Josh Widdicombe will be showing his dance moves to the nation the Christmas Day.
