BBC Gladiators viewers have said they are feeling 'robbed' after the show skipped over one of the final challenges due to injury.

Female contestants Keeva Neely and Nikki Billingham were set to go head to head during the final challenge, The Eliminator, but Nikki had to pull out due to injury.

Nikki, a 43-year-old celebrant based in Yorkshire, hurt herself in the previous challenge. Nikki took on Gladiator Dynamite in The Edge challenge which involves the player trying to get from one side of a suspended course to the other, without being pushed off by the Gladiator.

Nikki scored two points before being tackled by Dynamite into the net. She did manage to get to her feet, to be greeted by medics in the arena, as host Bradley Walsh told her: "that's it, go and get checked out." Just minutes later Bradley called a halt to the show, as he and son Barney revealed that Nikki, having been assessed by medical staff on site, had been forced to withdraw from the Eliminator, meaning that Keeva was sent straight through to the quarter finals.
