EastEnders confirmed devastating news for Ruby Allen's young son on Thursday (November 21) as the two-year-old was suffering from liver failure and remained in hospital.

Earlier this week, Martin Fowler (James Bye) found out the bombshell news that his ex-girlfriend Ruby (Louisa Lytton) had a baby while she was in prison, and he was the boys father.

Ruby wasted no time in returning to Walford to reclaim her sons stolen birth certificate confirming he was born in 2022. However, in the latest trip to Walford, Martin and Ruby were told by a doctor that Roman needs a living liver donor as he has has autoimmune hepatitis, and his liver is failing.

The doctor also confirmed the condition was not caused by Roman accidently drinking a bottle of paracetamol, bur rather something he would have been suffering with beforehand that incident.
