BBC Dragon's Den star Sara Davies says one part of show is 'devastating'

Sara Davies, the youngest ever female investor on Dragons' Den, has opened up about the part of the show she finds most difficult.The 40-year-old entrepreneur, who replaced Jenny Campbell in 2019, admitted to OK!

that she still struggles with having to shatter dreams in the BBC Two show. "When I have to say, 'I don't think this is commercially viable,' on Dragons' Den and they look crestfallen, it's devastating," she said during an exclusive chat about her new show. "So it's lovely on this show that I never have to do that!".

Sara, who also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 with Aljaž Škorjanec, founded Crafter's Companion while at university and has since gone on to become one of the country's most successful entrepreneurs.

With the help of her engineer dad, she turned a product idea for a contraption to make custom-sized envelopes into a multi-million pound business trading in over 40 countries.
