A Call the Midwife star has confirmed that they will appear in the current series of the BBC show after eight years away. Fans were delighted when Chris Harper, who plays nurse Trixie's brother Geoffrey Franklin, appeared in the 2024 Christmas special.
Now he’s revealed he's set to reprise his role eight years after he left. The 47-year-old, who has most recently been seen in ITV soap Coronation Street as evil Nathan Curtis - who was jailed for grooming Bethany Platt - shared he loved playing Geoffrey, as he is so different to his Corrie villain, the Mirror reports.
