BBC Breakfast viewers woke up to a new hosting duo on the famous red sofa following Dan Walker's exit. However, it was a familiar face as Sally Nugent was joined by Jon Kay.
It was an emotional day for Sally on Tuesday (May 17) after the departing Dan almost pushed her to tears with his gushing leaving speech.
The show had been running as normal up until the last part where attention turned to giving the presenter a fond farewell as he left to join Channel 5's revamped 5 News.
There were best bits, a reunion with former co-host Louise Minchin who left last year after 20 years with the BBC, and an appearance from his Strictly Come Dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova via video link.
