BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty had to interrupt today's programme to issue an important warning to viewers. Naga was presenting alongside Ben Thompson on the Saturday broadcast (December 21), and the pair made the big reveal that Wham!
had again clinched the position of UK's Christmas number one, marking the second consecutive year and tying with a record previously only achieved by Queen and Band Aid.
Before moving on to the full story, Naga swiftly interjected to alert BBC Breakfast viewers about 'Whammagedon', the challenge where participants attempt to dodge the tune Last Christmas from December 1 to December 24.
She cautioned: "Hold on, we need to do the warning - Whammagedon warning. So only two other songs have held the honour, which are Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Band Aid's Do They Know it's Christmas", reports the Express.
