Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has rubbished suggestions that Manchester United have made an enquiry for Germany international Leroy Sane.
According to a report by the Mirror, United have made a 'shock enquiry' for the former Manchester City star as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the transfer window closing at the start of next month.
United are keen to add a wide forward to their armoury and have been linked with Ajax ace Antony for much of the summer. However, the Dutch heavyweights are determined to keep hold of the Brazilian, meaning that United are set to be forced elsewhere in pursuit of new attacking talent.
The Reds are currently reasonably well-stocked in the wide areas, boasting Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Anthony Elanga and Alejandro Garnacho, all of whom are capable of playing on the flanks.
