Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness says he hopes Leroy Sane can be part of a 'new era' at the club, as he continues to be linked with a move away from Manchester City.
Bayern have publicly chased Sane for some time, with members of the club hierarchy and playing staff regularly found talking about their desire to sign the German winger - sometimes to the annoyance of City.
Sane has a year left on his City contract, and while a new offer remains on the table from the club, they may be forced into a decision to sell this summer or see him leave on a free next year.
The winger is back in training ahead of the Premier League re-start, and could make his first appearance of the season against Arsenal on June 17.
