Baweja Studios, House of Talkies Ink Three-Project Pact at Mip London (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comNaman Ramachandran Harman Baweja‘s Baweja Studios has partnered with Sidharth Jain‘s House of Talkies in a three-project deal announced at Mip London.
The collaboration brings together two Indian production entities known for their content-driven approaches. Baweja Studios, which recently produced ZEE5 original film “Mrs,” starring Sanya Malhotra – a reimagining of acclaimed Malayalam-language film “The Great Indian Kitchen” – will work with House of Talkies, the production company behind Netflix series “Trial By Fire,” which won the Filmfare OTT [streaming] critics award for best series.
House of Talkies is connected to Jain’s The Story Ink, which specializes in book-to-screen adaptations, represents over 500 stories, 200 authors, and 100 screenwriters.
Baweja Studios’ upcoming projects include “Dil Ka Darwaza Kholna Darling,” directed by Vikas Bahl (“Queen,” “Super 30”) with a cast including Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
