Brazil star Arthur Melo has been told he is going nowhere as Barcelona begin a major shake-up at the Nou Camp. The Spanish giants are ready to listen to offers for Croatia midfielder Ivan Rakitic and fellow veteran Arturo Vidal which could put English clubs on red alert when the transfer window re-opens.
But even though they are building a new-look midfield, it is clear that 23-year-old Melo has a big future at the club. Barcelona have had enquiries for the Brazil international but they have all been rebuffed with a clear message that he is not for sale.
Melo struggled under former boss Ernesto Valverde but is now ready to blossom under new coach Quique Setien, especially when the season restarts.
