The BAFTA TV Awards are back on our screens tonight and the nominations are as impressive as ever. It looks like it might be a big evening for the Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin and its stars Olly Alexander and Lydia West.
It’s A Sin, which focuses on the start of the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, leads the nominations with an incredible 11 nominations.
Alexander and West are both up for leading actor awards and the production is up for a few more nominations. The leading actor nominations also include Sean Bean, Stephen Graham, David Thewlis, Hugh Quarshie and Samuel Adewunmi.
On the flip side for the leading actress nominations Lydia West will be battling Kate Winslet, Jodie Comer, Emily Watson, Denise Gough and Niamh Algar.
