Backstreet Boys to Become First Pop Act to Play Las Vegas Sphere Residency

Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music The Backstreet Boys will become the first pop act to play at the Sphere in Las Vegas: the long-running group has announced a July 2025 residency at the immersive new venue called “Into the Millennium.” Produced by Live Nation, the event will feature nine performances on July 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27, 2025.

Past residencies at the venue have included U2, Dead & Co., Phish, the Eagles and EDM act Anyma. The announcement promises that “Fans can expect an unforgettable experience as the Backstreet Boys bring their legendary ‘Millennium’ album to life, alongside a selection of their greatest hits.

Beloved classics like “I Want It That Way,” and “Larger Than Life,” will be delivered or enhanced with cutting-edge visuals and sound made possible by Sphere’s revolutionary immersive technology.” Artist presale has already begun and runs through Monday, February 17 at 10pm PT.

For the first six shows, the Backstreet Boys Fan Club Presale will begin Tuesday, February 18 at 9am PT and the Artist Presale will begin Wednesday, February 19 at 9am PT.
