Baby dead and three kids fighting for life after 'eating fentanyl at nursery'
dailyrecord.co.ukA baby has died and three other children are currently fighting for their lives after reportedly eating fentanyl at a nursery.Police raced to Divino Niño Daycare in the Bronx, New York after horrified staff made an urgent call to 911 after the children fell unwell.Four kids, including a one-year-old boy, a 7-month-old girl, and two 2-year-old boys reportedly collapsed.
The one-year-old boy tragically passed away and the others were rushed to hospital, reports the Mirror .New York Police Department said the youngsters appear to be in stable condition.
Officials from the New York City Fire Department told The Mirror US that the call came in at 2:42pm on Friday, September 15.
Sources told the Mirror that this does not appear to be a case of carbon monoxide poisoning, with a witness at the scene telling us that officers can be seen testing the air - but so far readings are negative.The New York Post reported that there was an investigation ongoing into the possible presence of fentanyl, though that has not been officially confirmed.
