Baby boy dies after dad 'dumps him in the road and runs him over in car'

A dad, who allegedly ran his baby son over after dumping him in the middle of the road, has been arrested.Justin Golden, 20, is accused of aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide after his eight-month-old child was fatally wounded in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, reports the Mirror.

He placed the infant in the middle of an intersection following an argument with his girlfriend, before hitting him with the SUV and driving off, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.He was later found by police and arrested.

Paramedics rushed the baby to hospital, but he could not be saved and was pronounced dead by doctors.One eyewitness, barber Markin Barnes, said he ran out of his barbershop across the road after hearing a woman screaming outside.

described the scene as chaotic and told local television station WJXT: "The kid was bleeding. So we immediately asked did she need help." Mr Barnes, who is a father himself, went on to tell First Coast News: "Now that I’m finding out the details, it’s even worse.
