BA flight makes emergency u-turn back to Heathrow 'after dumping fuel at sea'

British Airways flight on its way to Los Angeles from London was forced to return to the UK after "dumping fuel at sea" minutes after take-off, it has been reported.

Flightradar24 reports flight BA269, which took off at 4.40pm and was due to land in LA at 7.30pm local time, turned around after circling over the North Sea shortly after take-off and landed safely back at Heathrow Airport following the emergency incident.Images shared on social media are said to show the plane shedding fuel at 11,000ft.One person who claims to be a passenger on the flight wrote on Twitter: "BA269 dumping fuel and returning to Heathrow.
