Awestruck Scots have been left amazed after watching the Polar Express chuff past their homes. The festive train passed through Edinburgh on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, as many amazed families watched on from the comfort of their living rooms.
One amazing video taken by a resident shows the locomotive pass through Gorgie and approach Slateford as it heads out of the capital.
The unique festive train sets off from Edinburgh Waverley station heading across to Glasgow with the magical experience lasting around one to two hours in total, reports Edinburgh Live.The carriages usually travel along the line from the station and this year, the train was spotted in residential areas much to the delight of locals.
Accompanied by a conductor and chef, it's not an average train journey. The story of The Polar Express comes to life with with live songs from the film before meeting the main man - Santa Claus.
