Staff on an Australian morning talk show who came into “prolonged contact” with Rita Wilson during her appearance on the program earlier this week are being quarantined after the actress tested positive for coronavirus. “Today Extra” hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell are among those being sent into self-isolation for 14 days, according to Nine Network, which airs the program. “Our premises is currently being thoroughly cleaned in all areas she visited and we are encouraging our employees to monitor their health and practice good hygiene,” the network said in a statement.
Campbell said that Wilson, 63, hadn’t exhibited any symptoms when she appeared on the show Monday — and even cracked a joke about the coronavirus.
