The 40-year-old actress was on the Saturday Night Live special anniversary special to introduce a musical performance from Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard. Keep reading to find out more… If you didn’t know, Aubrey has quite the history with SNL as she interned at the sketch show for the 2004-2005 season when she was in film school.
She was also an NBC page after that, and in 2023, she returned to the show as a host! This marked Aubrey‘s first public outing following the sudden death of her husband Jeff Baena at the start of the new year.
The director and writer passed away by suicide on January 4th. Aubrey and Jeff‘s family released a statement following his unexpected passing, and she has since deleted her Instagram account.
